Subject: Bahahah National interest ?
Such lies and deceit in 1965...He mentioned the now proven lie of the Tonkin Gulf incedent , wonder how many their knew this was pure lies?
Love the propaganda terms of, Guerrilla, red and Commie! The facts we now know about this time in the war are indispensable while listening to this report.
This was the first great, Industrial War machine effort , lying with the Government for war manufacturing profits. The poor American public had no idea how bad this was or would get until today and there are still people that will not believe it's so. All those mega Corporations that forced this war are still up to the same, some are still under the same name....atrocious and deceiving to say the least!

Subject: Minor Correction
The description refers to a "George McBundy."

McBundy is actually his first name.

Subject: Show Down in Vietnam
As a veteran of the Vietnam war 1968-1969, I heard the song 8th of Nov. I knew it was about NAM but did not know exacetly what. Now I know, This happened 1 month before I joined the Navy and left soon after for Vietnam.
This and all the others are very informative for everyone, especially our youth, for said to say history repeats its self and has.
